Summary: Rise Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood – Two Year Old Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing the daily operational activities of the classroom. The teacher must have a deep understanding of children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to create a safe and stimulating environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. Effective communication with both children and adults is crucial for meeting children’s needs, guiding teacher assistants, and resolving parental concerns. This position reports to the Assistant Director, Director, Site Administrator, and Owners.

Duties:

  • Develop and implement educational curriculum by planning classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
  • Lead by example and promote teaching team success through modeling and coaching.
  • Exhibit a coachable attitude and accept constructive criticism positively.
  • Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to foster social, cognitive, and emotional growth.
  • Maintain frequent communication with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Ensure compliance with all center policies and state regulations.
