Responsibilities
As a Fruit Farming Labourer, your duties will include:
- Clearing and collecting brush and debris from fields and other work areas.
- Removing wood and stones from fields.
- Picking row and orchard crops.
- Planting, cultivating, and irrigating crops.
- Tying and securing plants and training trees to produce higher-quality fruit.
- Harvesting crops and examining them for quality and market readiness.
- Detecting diseases and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry.
Requirements
- Languages: English
Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Experience is an asset but not mandatory.
Work Environment
The worksite environment includes:
- Outdoors: Working in all weather conditions.
