About the Role:
Due to ongoing growth, Engineering Applications is seeking enthusiastic Maintenance Fitters of all experience levels. You’ll work across a wide variety of sites and industries, providing crucial maintenance, installation, and repair services. This role requires someone with a strong mechanical aptitude, able to work both independently and in a team.
Key responsibilities include fault finding, breakdown support, and preventative maintenance. With a strong focus on safety, you’ll manage your jobs effectively within a set time frame. This casual position offers the potential for transition to full-time employment.
Key Attributes:
Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical)
General safety induction white card
Industry experience in routine and breakdown maintenance
Experience in installation and commissioning of machinery
Site shutdown experience
Problem-solving skills to meet client needs
Excellent communication skills
Availability for overtime and occasional weekend work
Desirable but Not Essential:
Pneumatic / Hydraulic experience
Forklift, EWP / Boom Lift Licenses
Welding skills: GMAW, GTAW & MMAW
Fabrication skills
Manual machining and milling
Working at Heights training
Confined Space training
Dogging and EWP Tickets
Willingness to attend out-of-hours breakdowns on a rotational roster
