Qualifications & Experience:
Ability to perform repetitive bending and lifting; standing on your feet for most of the shift.
Availability to work on a 7-day roster, including weekends.
Proven reliability, hard work, and a strong willingness to deliver quality results.
Current driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Prior farming experience is an advantage but not essential.
Strong focus on safety and quarantine standards, ensuring strict adherence to environmental and quarantine protocols.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Placing baby birds into sheds.
Conducting “Dead Runs” to check for deceased birds.
Performing maintenance duties, including calibrating sensors and repairing feed pans/water dispensers.
Weighing birds to monitor growth and health.
Cleaning out sheds to maintain hygiene.
Performing slashing and weed spraying around the farm.
General cleaning duties and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
