Responsibilities
- Develop and implement childcare programs to support children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Lead storytelling sessions, teach songs, and organize activities like crafts and local outings.
- Observe and document children’s behavior to identify learning or behavioral issues and prepare reports.
Promote creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activities.
Guide children in proper eating, dressing, and hygiene habits.
Maintain records and collaborate with supervisors and co-workers.
Plan and maintain a safe, secure, and engaging environment for children.
Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
Credentials and Requirements
- Languages: English
- Education: College, CEGEP, or diploma (1–2 years program)
- Experience: 1–2 years in a similar role

- Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
