Responsibilities
- Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities.
- Assist in cleaning, sterilizing, setting up, and assembling medical equipment.
- Provide personal care and comfort to patients.
- Take and monitor patients’ blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Serve meal trays and assist with feeding patients.
- Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients.
- Supervise patients’ exercise routines.
- Bathe, dress, and groom patients.
- Transport patients between care facilities using wheelchairs or stretchers.
- Administer first aid in emergency situations.
Requirements
- Languages: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
- Work Setting: Nursing home or home for the aged
