Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and other nursing staff.
  • Deliver health education programs to residents and families.
  • Manage home care cases and provide consultative services.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BScN).
  • Registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in a long-term care setting (an asset).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor with a focus on resident-centered care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Highly organized, reliable, and a strong team player.
