Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and other nursing staff.
- Deliver health education programs to residents and families.
- Manage home care cases and provide consultative services.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BScN).
- Registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Strong clinical skills and experience in a long-term care setting (an asset).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a focus on resident-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Highly organized, reliable, and a strong team player.
