Bracken Ward is an Older People’s functional acute admissions ward focusing on recovery during acute mental health crises.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver generic and planned care interventions to older adults in acute mental health crises.
- Assist with maintaining personal hygiene, physical health, and psychological comfort for patients while upholding privacy and dignity.
- Work under the supervision of registered health professionals to provide clinical care.
- Ensure a safe and positive experience for patients by treating them, relatives, and colleagues with respect and empathy.
- Take leadership and guidance from the Assistant Practitioner for specific delegated tasks.
