Responsibilities
- Supply and empty bed pans
- Measure and record patients’ blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Serve meal trays and assist with feeding
- Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients
- Deliver messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments
- Make beds and maintain patient rooms
- Supervise patient exercise routines
- Maintain inventory of supplies
- Assist in bathing, dressing, and grooming patients
- Transport patients within the facility using wheelchairs or stretchers
- Collect and handle medical specimens
Requirements
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Work Setting: Nursing home/home for the aged
