Job Description
HIGH QUALITY DAILY FRESH PRODUCE LTD is seeking a dedicated Farm Supervisor to join our team in Abbotsford and Pitt Meadows, British Columbia. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive hourly wage. The ideal candidate will have experience in agriculture and a strong ability to lead and manage farm operations.
As a Farm Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of farm staff, maintaining production records, and ensuring high-quality crop services. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain financial and production records
- Provide agricultural crop services, including plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting
- Coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers
- Maintain quality control and production records
- Oversee growing and other crop-related operations
- Hire and train staff to ensure efficient farm operations
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- Perform general farm duties as needed
Supervision: Supervise more than 20 people
