Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
- Administer medications under the supervision of a nurse
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting as needed
- Monitor and report any changes in patient health status
- Support patients receiving hospice care
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving or patient care preferred
- Experience in senior care, nursing homes, or assisted living facilities is a plus
- Knowledge of medication administration is beneficial
- Education: Secondary School (preferred)
- Licence/Certification: Class 5 Licence (preferred)
