Job Responsibilities
As a Child Caregiver, your main duties will include:
- Changing diapers and supporting parents with toilet training.
- Assuming full responsibility for the household in the absence of the parents.
- Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Traveling with the family on trips and assisting with child supervision and household tasks.
- Bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children.
- Disciplining children based on the methods requested by parents.
- Instructing children in personal hygiene and social development.
- Maintaining a safe and healthy home environment.
- Organizing games, outings, and other activities for the children.
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals.
- Preparing infants and children for rest periods.
- Supervising and caring for children, including taking them to school, making appointments, and helping with homework.
- Tending to the emotional well-being of the children.
Experience and Skills Required
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Experience is considered an asset.
- Target Audience: Ability to supervise and care for a multi-aged group of children.

Work Setting
- You will be working in the employer’s home with room and board provided.
- Staff accommodation is available, and travel expenses are covered by the employer.
Additional Information
- Security and Safety: You will need to undergo a child welfare check, criminal record check, and a medical exam.
- Transportation/Travel: Willingness to travel is required. The employer covers travel expenses.
