Responsibilities
As a Home Care Worker, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing care and companionship during periods of incapacitation, convalescence, or family disruption.
- Administering bedside and personal care, including assistance with ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, and undressing.
- Planning and preparing meals, including special diets, and feeding or assisting in feeding clients.
- Performing routine health-related duties under the direction of a supervisor or nurse, such as:Changing non-sterile dressings.
- Assisting with medication administration.
- Collecting specimens.
- Carrying out routine housekeeping duties, including laundry, dishwashing, and making beds.
Requirements
- Language: English.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
- Asset Language: Mandarin.
