Responsibilities
- Perform duties related to patient care and comfort.
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Take patients’ blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Serve meal trays and assist with feeding patients.
- Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients as needed.
- Make beds and maintain clean and organized patient rooms.
- Supervise and assist patients with exercise routines.
- Transport patients using wheelchairs or stretchers.
Requirements
- Languages: English
- Education: College or CEGEP certificate.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.
Work Setting: Employer’s or client’s home.
Credentials: First Aid Certificate.
