Moxies is looking for a dedicated Dishwasher to join our dynamic kitchen team in Ottawa, ON. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced culinary environment, where teamwork and attention to detail are key. You will play an essential role in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen while ensuring the availability of clean dishes, pots, and kitchen equipment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Consistently ensure the availability of clean dishes, flatware, pans, and pots.
- Maintain a clean work environment by cleaning kitchen appliances and machines, including stoves, coffee makers, mixers, and more.
- Buss tables by collecting soiled dishes and flatware.
- Occasionally assist in resetting tables and preparing for the next guests.
- Unload and store deliveries as needed.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and procedures.
- Help maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, including taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans.
Requirements:
- Minimal work experience as a dishwasher is required.
- Must be proficient in handling and operating different types of dishware.
- Familiarity with food safety procedures is essential.
- Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
