Primary Location:
District 5 Garage – Licking County
9600 Jacksontown Road, Jacksontown, OH 43030
Compensation: $19.72 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment for snow and ice removal and roadway maintenance
- Perform emergency response, clean-up, and traffic control
- Perform general highway maintenance (e.g., excavating, grading ditches, cleaning waterways, cutting brush, applying chemicals, patching pavement)
- Maintain and repair highways, roadways, and right-of-ways
- Operate basic equipment (e.g., backhoes, loaders, trucks, plows)
- Perform minor equipment repairs and maintenance
- Maintain accurate records and logs
- Assist stranded motorists
Requirements:
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Successful completion of a criminal background check
- Negative drug screen
- Ability to stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
