Reporting to the Project Manager, the Environmental Coordinator supports and monitors the work completed on wind project sites.
The role requires interacting with a wide range of stakeholders, from various levels and positions, to ensure the project proceeds in accordance with the conditions set by regulatory authorities.

- BSc. degree in Biology, Environmental Sciences, Renewable Resources, or hold a
- Technical Diploma in Natural Resources or Environmental Management from a certified college.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position;
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of environmental standards to be respected on construction sites (RADF);
- Proficient with ArcGIS software and possess good technical skills;
- Demonstrate an advanced level of bilingualism in English and French, written and spoken (an asset);
- Experience in the construction industry and its health and safety standards (an asset).
What you will do to complete this mission successfully :
- Ensure planning, environmental monitoring of wind turbine construction work, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and monitoring of current mandates (deadlines and budgets);

- Validate compliance with specifications, monitoring plans, laws, regulations, and conditions of regulatory authorities;
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of appropriate legislation;
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, approval authorities, project stakeholders;
- Collaborate in obtaining environmental permits and certificates of authorization
Propose solutions to problems related to the construction environment; - Participate in the development of new tools and services offered by the company;
- Collaborate in obtaining exemptions or additional authorizations, where necessary;
- Write monitoring reports, participate in site meetings, and perform other related duties.
