Responsibilities
- Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities.
- Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up, and assembling medical equipment.
- Aid in the maintenance and repair of medical equipment.
- Perform patient care and comfort tasks, including personal care assistance.
- Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Serve meal trays and assist patients with feeding.
- Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patients’ rooms.
- Supervise patients’ exercise routines.
- Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations, and enemas.
- Bathe, dress, and groom patients.
- Transport patients using wheelchairs or stretchers.
- Respond to call signals to assess patients’ needs.
- Administer first aid in emergency situations.
Requirements
- Language: English
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma required.
- Experience: 1 to less than 2 years.
