Full Job Description
As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will:

  • Provide care to maintain patients’ personal hygiene, physical health, and psychological comfort while preserving their privacy and dignity.
  • Assist the healthcare team under the supervision of registered health care professionals to deliver clinical care.
  • Support older patients with acute mental health needs, ensuring patient safety and fostering a positive patient experience.
  • Role model professional behavior and provide leadership to Band 2 staff within delegated tasks.
  • Undertake physical health monitoring, support nurses on shift, and maintain clinical stock levels.
  • Work collaboratively with patients, their carers, and a multi-disciplinary team to encourage recovery.

Job Duties of a Healthcare Support Worker
