Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist clients with mobility and daily living tasks while ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Prepare meals and accommodate specific dietary requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment.
- Follow personalized care plans and report any changes in the client’s condition to healthcare professionals.
- Transport clients to appointments or social activities as needed.
- Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental well-being.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and communication.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to assist others.
- Essential: A valid UK driving licence and access to a car.
Education and Certification:
- Preferred: GCSE or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience in home care or caregiving is required.
- English language proficiency is mandatory.
