Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Deliver health education programs to residents and families.
- Supervise and mentor Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and other nursing staff.
- Manage home care cases and provide consultative services.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Experience in a long-term care setting is an asset.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong commitment to patient care and resident well-being.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage a fast-paced workload.
- Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
